Each year, 1 in 25 children are born with a genetic disorder. This can have a slight or dramatic effect on the way they live their lives. Genetic Disorders UK vision is to support, care, provide, improve and change the lives of families and children affected by a genetic condition. Genetic Disorders UK is run by a small team that organises the annual Jeans for Genes Day fundraising event. A one day annual campaign that takes place on the first Friday of October.
